As a member of Kansas City Women In Film & TV, you are part of Women In Film & Television International (WIFTI), a global network comprised of some 37 Women In Film chapters worldwide and over 10,000 members.
KCWIFT partners with CinemaKC, a nonprofit that hopes to increase awareness and recognize talent and achievements, while growing the reputation for quality studio and independent motion pictures by the professional film community in Kansas and Missouri.
The Greater Kansas City Film Commission supports and encourages the work of major and independent film companies, as well as media production teams, as they consider or undertake on-location projects in the Kansas City region.

The Kansas City Screenwriters are an informal group of professional and amateur writers that meets every Wednesday night at Harpo's in Westport, 4109 Pennsylvania. Meetings generally go from 7-9pm and the emphasis is on writing and criticism of our work.

Kansas International Film Festival (KIFF) is a Kansas based non-profit organization is dedicated to the exhibition and preservation of independent and classic cinema. KCWIFT is proudly partnering with KIFF in 2012 for the fall festival dates Oct. 5 - Oct 11, 2012.
The KC Fringe Festival is jam-packed with live theater, dance, performance art, visual art, spoken word, puppetry, storytelling, film and fashion. The festival is a celebration of local, regional and national artists, presenting events at venues throughout Kansas City July 21-31, 2012.
Located on the edge of the Crossroads and Film Row Districts, Screenland is a fully renovated creative office center, movie theatre and event center. KCWIFT Networking Meetings are held in the Gallery space at Screenland Crossroads.
The Missouri Motion Media Association's mission is to provide its members opportunities for professional development, networking, vendor support, involvement in our community and community recognition. MOMMA also provides a voice for the motion media industry in regard to issues and legislation that impacts our members.
